Another new group of alloys is added to the Database: Japanese nickel alloys. Japanese JIS specifications for nickel and nickel alloy plate, sheet, strip, seamless pipes, bars and wire are added.
New update on copper and copper alloy definitions within Unified Numbering System (UNS) included electronic copper, electrolytic and tough pitch copper, cast copper, and copper-based brazing filler metals.

Key to Metals Database is upgraded with completely new sets of data for titanium and titanium alloy welding electrodes and rods specified by the US AWS (American Welding Society).
Aluminum alloys definitions within Unified Numbering System (UNS) are updated as well, and a number of new designations is included into the Database.

Key to Metals Database is upgraded with two new groups of standards for aluminum alloys: - US SAE Ground Vehicle Standards (J-Reports) for aluminum wrought, casting, bearing and bushing alloys, and
- Spanish (UNE) standards for aluminum ingots, casting and wrought alloys.
Grades defined by these specifications are also cross-referenced with the rest of aluminum alloys within the Database.
To reflect the developments done in Key to Metals Database Web Edition in the last quarter, new version of Key to Metals CD Edition --2004.10-- is released.
